The Dog as it's known locally is a real tradtional English pub with a friendly atmosphere and great character.
Real ales from the brewery are well kept and the pub is listed in the Camra 2009 Good Beer Guide.
The pub serves home made food, which is available at the bar, or additionally in the restaurant in the evening.
Our pub teams meet weekly - quiz Sunday, darts Monday and crib on Tuesday. At the Dog we have entertainment every Saturday night.
